The little beach house of Sebastiano is reminiscent of the villages of the desert planet Tatooine from Star Wars. The house is simple, but lovingly designed, with a small kitchen, bathroom, and a living room, which comfortably accommodates two people. When you walk up the spiral staircase, you will find a sunny roof terrace, from where you have a panoramic view of the sea. The pullout couch in the living room offers you a cozy overnight alternative for two. In the next door bar, you can enjoy a croissant and a cappuccino in the morning, Italian style, while you look out over the endless expanse of the sea.

S'Archittu is a small, dreamy village directly on the west coast of Sardinia. The serenity and calm demeanour of the inhabitants gives this place a very special atmosphere. The village is surrounded by endless beaches and quiet bays. Only ten minutes away from your accommodation, there is a small bay with a rock formation, from which the locals have always cliff-dived into the sea. The so-called red rocks of Arbatax, crimson porphyry peaks that protrude from the sea, are one of the great attractions of nature in Sardinia. They are made of porphyry, and are somewhat hidden in the vicinity of the harbor. In addition to the breathtaking landscape of the island - the landscape stretches from desert-like sand surfaces, to lagoons, to steep rock faces, and basal plateaus - there are always musical and literary festivals taking place.

Sebastiano Host

My name is Sebastiano, and I am 38 years old. After spending some years in Rome, working in tourism, I moved back to Sardinia to protect the island's special cultural heritage, and to give tourists an insight into this interesting area. By now, I am letting out an accommodation, and connect the services of my surroundings. I am busy exploring the most beautiful parts of my culture, tradition, art, and enogastronomy, and then show them to the guests. I also like the many Sardinian folk festivals, both traditional and modern, and I love to visit literary and musical festivals, such as the "Il Time" Jazz Festival. Together with some friends, I have put together a variety of beautiful and exciting activities. You want to get to know the beautiful landscape of Oristanos? Then join one of the guided walks by local people, or explore the surrounding area by trekking with a small Sardinian donkey. You are a real water rat, and can’t wait to jump into the sea from one of the white sand beaches? Then a variety of watersports, such as surfing or sailing, await you. Would you like to get acquainted with Sardinian traditions? Here’s you might be looking for: Build old Sardinian instruments in a workshop, or learn how typical Sardinian desserts are made. Or would you like to participate in everyday life, and get closer to the Sardinian countryside? Then come on over when the olive or grape harvest is in full swing.
